How Flake Ice Maker Work:
Water is sprayed uniformly over the freezing surface of the Flake Ice Maker, which is a low-pressure side evaporator. When connected to a high-pressure refrigeration system, heat from the water is absorbed & water is instantly converted to a layer of ice over the freezing surface. With the help of special ice removal tools / knives or Reamer, the Flake Ice is continuously harvested & collected in the ice storage rooms / containers. Total quantity of water fed to the Flake Ice Maker is converted into Flake Ice. There is no wastage or spillage of water in the ice making process.

  • Continuously operating machine with no defrost cycles. All energy used goes to making ice.
  • No water is loss in ice making process.
  • Factory insulated, designed to work with flooded systems i.e. attached insulated Liquid Vapor separator (LVS) / Accumulator.
  • Available to work with forced recirculation system i.e. no LVS needed.
